"Whats for Dinner?" gives you access to all of your recipes and more while youre on the go. Search multiple popular recipe websites (listed below) all at once. Import your own family recipes via a desktop computer or directly on the device. Quickly build a categorized shopping list and check off items as you walk through the grocery store. An app you wont know how you lived without!
Online search includes recipes from sites like Epicurious, Better Homes & Gardens, and Food.com.
NOTE: The base version of the app allows unlimited usage but you can only save 10 recipes.
There is an in-app-purchase for $4.99 which allows you to: 1) Save as many recipes as you want, 2) Add custom ingredients to your shopping list, and 3) Email your shopping list.

This is a clean app for adding recipes. one of the better ones. However its missing some very essential things that I hope the development team would add on for the next update.
1. you can add ingredients but you cannot add an amount for the ingredients!!!!???
2. Numbered instructions
until then I will not upgrade to premium.. Im looking forward to the next update if these things could be added. thanks
This one needs a little work (see below) but my new favorite since Epicuriois ruined theirs. And free too!
I find this program very convenient. I love that you can edit the recipes to make them your own.
Thank you soooo much for making this app available to iPad. I can now go to the grocery store, get the ingredients on my phone, go home and follow the recipe on my iPad. Great work!!!!
This is a great app the beat recipes app ever maybe 1day ill but pro for twice the greatness
Great app, but the only thing Im missing is the option to upload a photo of the dish. Coming soon?
Some bad moments
Loved this app, until it stopped working. Now it crashes all the time or wont even open. I would recommend it to everyone... If it worked all the time.
Worked great until latest iOS patch. Now it crashes as soon as it is opened.
I agree with others that this is a great app.... However, it just started to crash when trying to open. Only used it for 2 weeks. Now useless.
This was once my favourite cooking app but since the last iPad update the recipes will not scroll. I end up searching for the recipe on the internet and using that instead.
Last app update was for iOS 7. Features no longer work. Stay far, far away!!!!
I have tried over and over to get support to at least respond - in vain. This is a great app when it functions, but is very frustrating because it has not ran a search in a month. Fix this please!
