What's for Dinner? Recipe Cookbook and Shopping List App Reviews

Originally this app was great. Over the last 6 months the app only works intermittently and I have emailed the developer several times only to be ignored. Do not waste your money on the paid app as it will not be supported.

Every time i try to open the shopping list, the whole thing crashes. I have invested a lot of time inputting all my recipes into this and now i still have to make my shopping list by hand. Also, all my pics have disappeared.

I downloaded this app and right away all my contacts were erased! Cant get them back. Dont get app!!! I only give 1 star because it wnt let me leave none!

This app is pretty good for the basic functions. However there are some issues with it. Often times you can find recipes online with the same search criteria at the same website that this app pulls its data from but the app will not find those recipes. There also does not appear to be a way to make the recipes go full screen as you have to have the search and saved recipe list on the left side.

This app is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I am so pleased. If I couldnt find my recipe in their search, I very easily was able to import it. This app makes storing, accessing, saving, and sharing recipes so easy! I couldnt ask for more (except a personal chef ;) The more I use it the more I love it! You can edit recipes, shopping lists, etc. So simple! I am in app love, this is a must have!

This app crashes on my phone fairly frequently. Maybe once every two months. Ive asked over 10 times for help from the contact information. Never once have I received any response. Supposedly I have some recovery password. Have no idea what it is. I tried numerous variations. Ive asked for help about this repeatedly as previously mentioned. Why wont you ever respond to me?!?!?!?!

I have contacted the developers of this app twice using their own feedback form because after needing to reinstall the app, my purchase upgrade was no longer recognized which means I not only lost the value, but I am constantly being hit by their ads to "upgrade into order to save more than ten recipes." Insult to injury! Just get back to me and fix the purchase issue and it would be a 5-star rating because it was my favorite recipe app.

I use this more as a meal planner which creates shopping list. Nice easy way to keep our favorites listed by group - even made a group for ideas for my daughters lunch. I just put major ingredients in so easy to add to shopping cart. We have actual recipes elsewhere or already know how to make.

I didnt upgrade because for me its not important to have more than 10 recipes saved. I really like the ability to plan and have a shopping list I can easily work from, it has received a great deal of stress from day.

Good app helpful. Love it! Have all my recipes with me at all times.

I have been using this app for years. Its not a fancy app, but it definitely helps keep track and plan all of my recipes. My only complaint is that you can no longer search food.com. It originally did not have it, then it was added, and for some reason now Im only able to search Epicurious. Add that back and you will definitely have my five stars back, thank you for the great app!

I used this years ago and went to access it recently only to find it doesnt work! I paid for upgrade and still it will not find any recipes beyond epicurious.com and it will not download. Instead, I have to open up in the website which doesnt allow ingredient list, ease of use, etc.
